Automated Home 2.0 -#13 Ecco cosa stiamo pianificando per la nostra casa intelligente Loxone

negli ultimi mesi che abbiamo lavorato sui piani Loxone per la nuova casa.

Loxone è un BMS (sistema di gestione dell’edificio) costruito attorno al loro miniserver, il cervello dell’intera operazione. Ecco alcune delle funzionalità Loxone che stiamo prendendo in considerazione per la casa automatizzata 2.0 …

Illuminazione

L’illuminazione è probabilmente il posto più popolare per iniziare a rendere la tua casa “intelligente” nel Regno Unito.

Abbiamo parlato con un paio di aziende di design dell’illuminazione e mentre ci piacerebbe avere il loro contributo era solo un’altra di quelle figure nel nostro foglio di calcolo che alla fine non ha fatto il taglio.

Sul lato UP abbiamo scoperto che il nostro partner Loxone ha invece molta esperienza di illuminazione benefica che possiamo usare.

Il sistema può cambiare e scacciare quasi ogni tipo di luce, ma loxone produce anche i propri raccordi. Vorremmo usarli ove possibile e adoriamo soprattutto le loro lampade “LED Pendulum Slim” …

Sarebbe bello avere un po ‘di illuminazione di scena in cucina / sala da pranzo / soggiorno per aiutare le cose a zone e usare le luci a sospensione RGBW di Loxone, il nastro a LED e gli accendini per impostare umori diversi. Avevamo delle prese a 5 ampli di amplificatore rotonde nel vecchio posto per le lampade da tavolo che stiamo considerando di nuovo.

Sembra semplice, ma una delle caratteristiche che abbiamo provato molto durante la nostra visita alla casa di Loxone Show è stata l’illuminazione automatizzata. I sensori di movimento (PIR) montati nei soffitti che accendevano le luci mentre entravamo in una stanza. Il nuovo “albero della luce del soffitto” ha effettivamente integrato al centro dell’unità in modo da poter illuminare e rilevare il movimento in una stanza tutto da una singola unità.

I sensori delle porte sono anche un’opzione che stiamo prendendo in considerazione per stanze più piccole come la dispensa, quindi la luce sarebbe nell’istante in cui la porta inizia ad aprirsi.

È improbabile che il nostro budget si estenda molto in termini di illuminazione esterna a questo punto, ma abbiamo assolutamente intenzione di riservare alcuni circuiti per questo. Aggiungeremo alcune corse di cavi per altre cose future come le luci / cancelli / e un citofono anche lì.

Sicurezza e accesso

A causa di quei sensori di movimento e porte che abbiamo indicato sopra, Loxone ha generalmente tutti gli elementi di un allarme ladro già integrato. Quindi l’aggiunta della sirena di allarme loxone sembra una scelta ragionevole. Personalmente penso che le sirene non siano sempre così utili, specialmente in campagna. Tuttavia, con Loxone il sistema può telefonare e mandarmi un messaggio quando c’è una condizione di allarme che è molto più vantaggiosa di una campana che suona in un campo da qualche parte.

Guidare un’auto che utilizza lo smartphone come cruciale è fantastico e sarebbe bello aggiungere blocchi motorizzati alla casa per rimuovere anche la necessità di trasportare un cruciale per questo. Ognuna delle tastiere a touch del codice NFC di Loxone possono utilizzare più porte e possono anche consentire l’accesso limitato o una volta alla tua casa. Quindi, ad esempio, potresti dare un accesso più pulito il martedì tra le 9:00 e le dodici mezzogiorno o creare un perno per consentire a un automobilista di consegna di lasciare un pacco nel tuo garage.

Invece di digitare il tuo perno ogni volta che torni a casa, puoi usare un po ‘di FOB cruciale NFC come nella foto sopra. Ma vorrei davvero non dover portare nulla tranne il telefono, proprio come con la mia auto. Apple (essendo Apple) ha rifiutato di aprire NFC agli sviluppatori di terze parti, anni dopo aver aggiunto la funzione ai loro telefoni. preoccupazione non però utenti non e bandi, poiché Loxone fornisce anche questi identificati NFC Smart crittografati (adesivi) che possono essere posizionati sul retro del tuo iPhone (ma davvero Apple, non dovremmo farlo).

Stiamo installando le porte del garage a rulli elettrici e vorremmo interfacciarci anche con loro (leggi questo post sulla nostra configurazione della porta del garage).

Stiamo pianificando di installare più telecamere di sicurezza CCTV IP e Loxone ha la possibilità di visualizzare immagini CCTV nella loro app.

Infine, l’intero sistema Loxone può essere riunito per simulare la presenza in casa. Luci operative, persiane e suonando musica, ad esempio mentre sei in vacanza, che deve essere sufficiente per convincere l’osservatore occasionale che la casa è ancora occupata.

Ombreggiatura / Windows / Blinds

Stiamo adattando le finestre di copertura Keylite nella stanza KDL e studio. Ognuna di queste 7 unità è azionata elettricamente e vorremmo che il sistema Loxone fosse in grado di aprirle automaticamente, prima che la casa inizi a un calore in estate, ad esempio.

Mentre i dati di un servizio meteorologico su Internet sono utili, sarebbe bello avere la stazione meteorologica dedicata di Loxone in loco per rilevare accuratamente le condizioni del vento e della pioggia locali. Usando questo dispositivo il sistema potrebbe quindi chiudere automaticamente quelle finestre di copertura in condizioni bagnate e o ventose.

La stazione meteorologica può anche svolgere un ruolo nel metodo di riscaldamento per la casa, agendo come un compensatore meteorologico.

Oltre all’apertura e alla chiusura delle finestre, anche le tende sui lite di tetti saranno azionate elettricamente. Abbiamo in programma di aggiungeremotorised rollers on the sliders too, with Loxone controlling them all to supply automated shading in the summer.

Heating / HVAC / Energy

The Loxone system includes Valve Actuators that can be used on a manifold for example to control under floor heating (which we’ll have on both floors of the AH2).

Each area can have its own temperature sensor, as these are conveniently built into the Loxone wall switches. The system can take the average of several sensors to a lot more accurately figure out the room’s temperature.

Loxone’s Modbus extension could speak to our heating system as well as supplying energy monitoring duties. ideally I’d like to measure how much power any future EV charger or solar PV system we install consumes and generates.

Something I need to look into a lot more is smart appliances with timers for using off-peak electricity. Something that would allow us to run the dishwasher and washing maker at night using lower price energy for example.

Audio

We’ve had a Sonos system considering that 2005 and it’s always been a superb multi-room audio system. and while it can be integrated, Loxone supply their own multizone audio system, so this is something we’re considering too.

It can also be used to play announcements around the house using its text to speech engine for things like the status of alarm (set/unset), playing a custom-made doorbell sound, smoke detector warnings etc all through the Loxone Speakers.

We don’t want any speakers sitting around the floor, although that indicates it’s going to be hard to get the great sound we took pleasure in in the last house unless we can find another speaker solution. sound bars are probably our best option for the TVs.

Loxone aren’t known for their media controls, but that’s fine by me.

I think things are changing rapidly here (it seems like IR and universal Remotes are going the way of the Dodo), so it’s hard to even get a manage on what exactly our needs are at this point.

Catchup services are so good now that we’ve easily lived without any TV recordings for the last 12 months in our momentary accommodation. So while sky Q was exceptional in the old place (and is always an option to add to our network later on if we change our minds), I’ve currently no plans for any DVR at all.

In fact I probably enjoy a lot more YouTube than anything these days, so with that, Netflix and the rest of the streaming services, I really can’t see myself installing anything other than a few smart TVs with a good old hardwired Ethernet connection to each one, plus a Coax for Freeview.

In regards to integration, Loxone has an open API and can also interface with http, udp, RS-232, RS-485, DALI, DMX, EnOcean, Modbus and 1-wire amongst others. add that to the normal variety of digital and analogue I/O’s and there’s not much I can think of that cannot be integrated.

It would be great to have air quality monitoring figures feeding into the system too from our Foobot or AirThings Wave Plus.

On the recommendations of our installer Scott, we plan to use an Airbase extension along with a few Air modules here and there. This indicates the house will already have a good Loxone mesh network so any future wireless additions (Christmas tree lights in a smart Socket Air for example) must ‘just work’.

Loxone make their own Smoke Detector Air, but as it’s not mains powered it cannot be fitted to a new build. alternatively we could integrate with some third party ones with the proper contacts.

My better half liked the Touch Nightlight Air in the show home so we might put one of those in the master bedroom. Not sure that we’d get much use out of the Touch & Grill Air BBQ accessory in ‘sunny’ northern Ireland though

I’ve always wondered if it’s worth investing in water leak detection, but it’s another option to consider.

We’ve got a couple of outside sockets on the wish list too, one for the pressure washer at the rear and another at the front for an outside LED Patio lamp like this.

Our LAN and Wi-Fi setup will be a separate consideration (and posts) but at this point I’m intending to use as much PoE for Wireless access points and CCTV Cameras as I can.

Controls

One of the things people normally learn swiftly when setting up a modern smart home is that it’s really no fun in any way having to get your phone out every five minutes to control stuff.

This is where true automation comes into play, with the house controlling lights, blinds, heating, access, music etc all automatically based on things like your movements and the time of day. We certainly don’t plan to do away with wall switches either, and I really liked the scheme in the Loxone show home that indicated each switch used an identical setup for music, lights, blinds etc, making it much much easier to remember.

I’d love one central on-wall master panel for the system too, so an iPad setup like this in kitchen is on our wish list.
